Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

Northpor Bot collects and stores only what is necessary to function:

• Guild configuration — channel IDs, role IDs, and feature settings you configure via the dashboard or slash commands
• Moderation records — warnings issued to users (user ID, reason, timestamp)
• Discord OAuth data — your Discord username and guild list, used only to authenticate you to the dashboard. This is not stored persistently after your session ends.

2. What We Don't Collect

• Message content (beyond automod filtering, which is not logged)
• Voice activity
• Direct messages
• Personal information beyond what Discord provides during OAuth login

3. How Data Is Used

Collected data is used exclusively to provide bot functionality — applying your configuration, logging moderation actions, and authenticating dashboard access. Data is never sold or shared with third parties.

4. Data Storage

Configuration and moderation data is stored on the server hosting the bot. Guild data is isolated per server. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services.

5. Data Deletion

Removing the bot from your server does not automatically delete stored configuration data. To request deletion of your server's data, contact the bot administrators.

6. Third-Party Services

The dashboard uses Discord OAuth2 for authentication. Discord's own privacy policy governs the data Discord provides during this process.

7. Changes

This policy may be updated at any time. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
